Jimmy Smith Photography         

I am a former Crime Scene photographer who worked in San Francisco, California for over 28 years before taking a teaching position at a federal law enforcement academy. I now specialize in adventure sports, adventure travel and lifestyle photography. I attempt to capture graphic, compelling compositions, with bold colors and unique perspectives with a personal touch. I am a lifelong photographer who taught photography at the police academy before being assigned to work in Africa where I now live.  I love the outdoors and to travel with my camera never too far away. I have the experience and know-how to be in the right spot at that all important "decisive moment". Regardless of the subject matter, I continually strive to bring my own personal perspective and imagination to the images I create, while carefully and methodically addressing my clients’ needs and vision for that particular shoot. Happiest with a camera in my hand, I split my photography time between various locations in Africa and the U.S.A. I travel both near and far to capture many exciting moments.
